Holly Grows Blooms

About

Founded in 2026, Holly Grows Blooms grew from a lifelong love of growing.
It seems I’ve been unable to leave a plant alone for most of my life. Long before the flower field, there was a little girl picking flowers, proudly harvesting tomatoes and generally finding excuses to bring bits of the garden indoors. Now I'm a not-so-little girl, watching my son get the same joy from growing that I did.
My first flat quickly became home to hundreds of houseplants, which soon led to herbs, then fruit and vegetables, and eventually to flowers. Before long, my garden wasn’t enough, so I took on an allotment—and now I’m lucky enough to be growing on my own flower field just outside Milford-on-Sea.
Nestled among ancient oaks and wild hedgerows, our flowers are grown in harmony with the landscape around them. The salty sea air, coastal winds and rich local wildlife all help shape what we grow, making every season unique.
We never use chemical sprays or pesticides. Instead, we build healthy soils using homemade compost, cover crops, mulches and organic matter, working with nature rather than against it. Our flower beds are alive with bees, butterflies and countless other pollinators, because we believe a healthy flower farm should nourish wildlife as much as it does people.
Rather than forcing flowers to grow where they don’t belong, we choose varieties that thrive naturally in our environment. We also plant shrubs, grasses and perennials that return year after year, creating habitats for wildlife while reducing the need for unnecessary inputs.
Every bunch we harvest is picked by hand, conditioned with care and grown just a few miles from the florists and homes they’ll brighten.
When you choose Holly Grows Blooms, you’re not only buying seasonal British flowers, you’re supporting local wildlife, healthier soils and a slower, more sustainable way of growing.
